Ran this run at 8,000 elevation and paid for it later!! Loved this run in Gunnison all dirt trails best place to run on earth!

My goals are: I am training for my first marathon ever the Chicago Marathon. My goal is to run it in 3 hours and 30 minutes or faster. My other favorite activities include: Anything that keeps me active. I LOVE RUNNING!! Also so you all know I am looking to train for my marathon only running about 4 days a week. It is all I can manage being a single mom. Let me know tips you have on things I can do from my home to better help me to get in shape! More about me: I have been in love with running since about the age of 10! I have ran in summer track programs, for middle school, high school and college. I ran for Johnson County Community College for two years and Western State College for one year. In college I used to run 85 miles a week. I am far from that after having my daughter. I have been hit or miss at training consistently, but now I am on the grind again. I am out for my goal I had set many years ago to run a marathon. Ready or not here I come! Cannot wait for the 2008 Olympics to start. I love watching racing in person and on TV. My favorite runners are Deena Castor, Mike Aish, Alan Webb, Ryan Hall, Haile and Craig Motram. I am the true running nerd!
